Case Study - Concept & Renders

Client purchased a 6,000 sq ft LA home in a new development. While the property was built as a transitional style home, the design concept here was to lean into a more contemporary aesthetic. Interior architecture was amplified, sleek custom built-ins were conceived, furniture pieces from major Italian brands were chosen for a stylish look that both personalizes and elevates.

This is a Marc Zanusa piece designed in the high design 60s, and we’ve kept with the original tobacco leather. The piece has a casual but luxurious presence.

We searched for a solution to balance the wood clad wall at the opposite end of the room. The Remedisio Wind bookcase is light and airy, but the bronze metal and delicate curved joints give it a warm feel.

Designed by Spanish born, Italian trained Patrizia Urquoila for Moroso, the pieces are influenced by a fjord concept of chiseled away rock. It is a great way to inject playfulness and doses of color and texture.
